Drums and Vocal lessons. We offer private lessons that are scheduled
once a week on the same day & time, as well as weekend seminars
focusing on various subjects. We welcome students of any age & ability from the long
time player who wants to step it up to the absolute beginner. We
strive to offer a professional, friendly environment for people of

Herb founded Chapman Music over 40 years ago in
1967. Since then, Herb has taught literally hundreds the joy of
making music. His Dove & Grammy award-winning
youngest son, contemporary Christian artist, Steven Curtis Chapman,
and eldest son, Herb, Jr., a former Young Americans performer and
accomplished singer/musician in his own right, top the list of his
many accomplished students. Herb teaches his passion for
music with character, innovation & great humor, giving him a
reputation as a teacher & player with a broad palette of styles
& techniques which are unique to him alone. Two gold
records & over 20 years of performing & songwriting to his
credit make Herb a noted & sought after teacher & performer
who excels in virtually every style of music. Herb’s students
have traveled all over the globe sharing their love for music, which
they developed under Herb’s instruction.
